We like early warnings, for our tsunami, our tornadoes, our hurricanes, our smoke / carbon monoxide alarms, but at the same time we ignore, smoking causes cancer, diet drinks release excitotoxins that put holes in the brain, to much sugar (if you find honey eat only a little) is not healthy. Odd; how we treat different warnings, differently, doesn’t it just depend on, first if we believe the warning, and secondly, are we convinced the whatever it is, won’t happen to us?

G-D said, that when He was trying to turn His people away from sin, and toward a better (safer) way, that He would rise early, and send His slaves the prophets. He gives us the warning about what He will do if we continue, and how good it will be if we turn, and follow Him. (Dull of hearing maybe). We seam to be living in a society with a sociopathic tendency. A lot of people don’t seam to have much empathy for others, how our actions impact others.

Just for a short while, lets wonder what it might have been like to be G-D. Does our sin hurt G-D, would our sin give the evil one grounds to accuse, even G-D in His own heaven (remember Job)?

If G-D is like a father, lets look at some fathers, Jacob (Israel) lost Joseph, and would not be comforted, he lost Simeon, and was angry, but when he had to give up Benjamin in order to save his whole family, it was like a sentence of death to Jacob (if my gray head must go to Sheol in sorrow)

Another time their was a father who waited a very long time for a promised son, only to be told to sacrifice him on the mountain. You recall the rising early, the three day trip, the journey up the mountain, the question of the son, “where is the lamb”, the time to build an alter, the binding of his only son, the last bit of hope gone, (we do see in a later record, that he was convinced the G-D would raise the son back up to life). Oh; and, the answer to the question the son asked, was that G-D would provide Himself a lamb.

G-D rose at the right time and provided Himself.

For G-d so loved the world, (Abraham was promised that “in his seed the world would be blessed”) that He gave His only begotten Son that whoso ever believes in Him will gain eternal life.

Is it Sorrow or Singing?

Saul; Israel’s first King, did not do very well, he made many mistakes, pursued many deliberate bad choices. In his rage; he even had some priests murdered, he lost his place; his kingdom; his family, and himself. As these things were unfolding, Samuel had anointed David King, but David would not lift his hand to harm Saul, even as Saul was trying to at every turn to discredit, or even kill David.

A battle for the safety of Israel was looming; no escape, and G-D had stopped guiding Saul, so he went a witch, (a terrible action) and he was told that; tomorrow, both he and his sons would be dead. Not only had he lost his kingship, but also the nation was in peril; because of his leadership, and he had lost the  kingship for his sons.

Something had happened before all this took place, David (the anointed King) had prayed for Saul, asking that he might have an honorable death, David had said. “maybe the Saul would die in battle”.

You see; I like to think that; David’s prayer was answered, because I see a broken man, turn toward his certain death. Yes; we can find some fault in how it all went down, but he went, and he stood, and he gave the very last that he had.

If you read Jeremiah we see the loss and the renewal of the children of Abraham with several references to the coming savior, son of David, the king to sit on the throne. Messiah is referenced as like King David.

Both of these, and many other places, speak in part; about how it will be at the last of time.

G-D’s people;

( The two Witnesses The Messianic Jews and The Gentile followers of Messiah )

( The two Olive Trees, one cultivated, one wild Olive tree grafted into the one root,

both pouring oil into the lamp of G-D ) ,

will still be defeated because of sin,

(satan the anti-Christ will have a temporary win),

but G-D; s Followers will be restored; (Come Up Here) because of G-D’s Mercy and Grace.

We have all sinned (just took a wrong path) and come short of the Glory of G-D.

With all; of whatever you have left, one more mountain to climb.

He himself, said that He wrapped spirit in flesh, and made souls.

Today’s top for the chart song says, it’s my body, don’t tell me what to do with it.

G-D said, at death; these three things are separated, (the word death, actually means separation).

The spirit goes back to G-D, the flesh (the body) goes back to dust, but the souls go on to their eternal home.

Today; we are told that what we do with our own body’s, is not even up for debate.

If it’s abusing drugs, alcohol, cutting it, tattooing it, overeating, overworking it, making it engage in whichever letter of the alphabet, your sexual habits may be, or even killing it, we are encouraged to think; that it is personal choice, and no one has any rights to say differently. Even if someone may think your choices are hurting you.

If you did actually; own your body, maybe all that you do with it; could be your truth and be okay, but, it is the ownership that’s in question.

G-D, said that He made everyone starting with Adam & Eve (the mother of all living), and He then; is the rightful owner. So then, when we misuse our bodies, we are tearing up something that does not belong to us.

G-d said, that the appointment for all human beings is, to die (to be disassembled) because of sin, and after that face their judgment. Hebrews 9:27

G-D said, we will give an account of everything we have done, in this body.

Your body is not making the choices, you are.

We need to return all; of whatever is left, to the rightful owner, and let Him decide how it will be used.

We have a strange thing; in our court system, but it wasn’t always there it’s called precedent.

Here is how works, if you can build a case; (with truth or manipulated statements) and you get a decision handed down, it now can be used as a binding example or precedent . What is then forgotten, is whether the decision was arrived at properly. Or if it was well argued and defended.

Why am I talking about this? This idea has not only been used to change the intent of the law, but now is widely used in the (court of popular opinion) and now if almost anyone calls someone something. They are; in most cases ruined. Also, what is considered to be right and acceptable; is not constant, but changes very quickly. The intent of this these few words; is to show that the opportunity to speak and do, is time sensitive, and must be used now. The watchmen; are to speak, when they first see the enemy, not wait. I know it may not be what you wanted, having to stand up, stand out, to be the different, to be alone. I did though, hear about this one Guy, who said He would never leave you. If you love the people in your area, then show up, speak up, because soon, it will be; times up. Use your words and opportunities, before they go bad.

10“When you loan something to your neighbor, don’t enter his house to seize what he offered as collateral. 11Stay outside and let the man to whom you made the loan bring it out to you. 12If he is a poor man, don’t go to sleep with his collateral in your possession 13Be sure to return his garment to him at sunset so that he may sleep with it, and he will bless you. It will be a righteous deed in the presence of the LORD your God. 14Don’t take advantage of a hired person who is poor and needy, whether he’s your fellow citizen or a foreigner who lives in your city. 15Pay his wages that same day before the sun sets, because he is poor and his livelihood depends on it. Otherwise, he may cry out to the LORD against you, and you will incur guilt.

…..13Then Mordecai told them to reply to Esther, “Do not imagine that you in the king’s palace can escape any more than all the Jews. 14“For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place and you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not attained royalty for such a time as this?”

Today, if you hear His voice,

8do not harden your hearts

A boxer explained how a knockout punch worked; and how to counter-measure for it. Simply put; it is to; as you see the punch coming , turn you head with the punch, if even just a little. Years later; I would hear about the mechanics of it, seams one of those motion laws was at work, ( things at rest tend to stay at rest). As it was explained, the punch would move the skull faster than the brain, and the brain would impact the inside of the skull; and be stunned or knocked out. Today’s society, has some people who will randomly come up to some unsuspecting person, maybe at a crosswalk and hit them, knocking them down or even out, and then run away laughing.

G-D, (incidentally the o is left out for our Jewish friends, because of the careful respect they have for the name) does not want you to be ignorant of the devil’s devises or tactics. You see your enemy is the sneaky lion looking to devour, he is the sin crouching outside you door. He is the robber, hidden, waiting to attack you and your family along your journey to Jericho.

We will take a look at a few places, that easily mirror our time.

A Plot against Jeremiah

18:18Then they said, “Come and let us devise plans against Jeremiah. Surely the law is not going to be lost to the priest, nor counsel to the sage, nor the divine word to the prophet! Come on and let us strike at him with our tongue, and let us give no heed to any of his words.

The Uproar in Thessalonica

5The Jews, however, became jealous. So they brought in some troublemakers from the marketplace, formed a mob, and sent the city into an uproar. They raided Jason’s house in search of Paul and Silas, hoping to bring them out to the people. 6But when they could not find them, they dragged Jason and some other brothers before the city officials, shouting, “These men who have turned the world upside down have now come here, 7and Jason has welcomed them into his home. They are all defying Caesar’s decrees, saying there is another king, named Jesus!” 8On hearing this, the crowd and city officials were greatly disturbed. 9And after they had collected bond from Jason and the others, they released them.

Careful now, as you may think incorrect thoughts about these Jews in these accounts. Yes, they are doing; the wrong things, but as you consider their unbelief; temper your response with cautions like, ( all have fallen short, / with the same measure you use, it will be used on you, and why do you judge others, and do the same type of actions).

That aside, look at the tactics, for Jeremiah, it was to attack with the tongue, don’t listen to his words. Jason’s home was raided, he and other Christians were dragged into court, and fined because he had been associated with those who held an unpopular world view.

Back to the boxing, you may want to keep your head “as the military say on a swivel”, and keep your brain alert. These times are new, and very unfamiliar to a western way of life, but they are not new, in fact, it has been told a long time ago, about how it would be, but we have missed most of it. When you search the Word of G-D, notice the way things were, before the thousand year time of the gentiles (no world wide persecution ( he when out to deceive)). We can look at a few references, “if the treated the Master disrespectfully; the servants will be treated the same way.  / “And they gladly accepted the seizure of their property and goods (Read Hebrews), / Your own relatives will become your enemy. I know for most, these scriptures are unfamiliar, but they are still true.   A question for the rapture holders, concerning all the of followers of G-D, that have been brutally put to death in this world-wide persecution. Where was their rapture? And all this done in a very short time. Please, Will you look into His Word, and prepare yourself and your children? If you think it’s bad now, it is, but what’s in store, is like nothing we have seen. I can only say, “for the joy set before Him; Jesus faced his death, completing  his task, and returning to His Father. Keep looking beyond this “lite and momentary”, and keep in mind the joy waiting for “My good and faithful servant”

It is often said G-D is on my side, and together we make the majority.

What if that is not true, what if G-D is not on sides, but that He may have His own pursuits ( you know King of the universe might have His own plan for things) what if He is not a respecter of persons?

Here we see that Joshua, may have been thinking sides, but was answered no.

Commander of the Lord’s Army

Joshua 5:

13When Joshua was by Jericho, he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, a man was standing before him with his drawn sword in his hand. And Joshua went to him and said to him, “Are you for us, or for our adversaries?” 14And he said, “No; but I am the commander of the army of the Lord. Now I have come.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshipedc and said to him, “What does my lord say to his servant?” 15And the commander of the Lord’s army said to Joshua, “Take off your sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so.

Here we can see in real time, as the great man Moses; worn by the stress of leadership, and the constant, us against them atmosphere; stumbles and said “must we”, and hit the rock (like he did before) instead of speaking to the rock, as G-D had instructed him.

The Water of Meribah

8“Take the rod; and you and your brother Aaron assemble the congregation and speak to the rock before their eyes, that it may yield its water. You shall thus bring forth water for them out of the rock and let the congregation and their beasts drink.”

9So Moses took the rod from before the LORD, just as He had commanded him; 10and Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly before the rock. And he said to them, “Listen now, you rebels; must we bring forth water for you out of this rock?” 11Then Moses lifted up his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod; and water came forth abundantly, and the congregation and their beasts drank. 12But the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you have not believed Me, to treat Me as holy in the sight of the sons of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.” 13Those were the waters of Meribah, because the sons of Israel contended with the LORD, and He proved Himself holy among them.

Maybe we should be sure; to remove our own known sins,

so we can be able to be walk with G-D.

Psalm 80:

14Return, we beseech thee, O God of the hosts: look down from heaven and behold and visit this vine 15and the vineyard which thy right hand has planted and the branch that thou didst make strong for thyself. 16It is burned with fire; it is cut down; they perish at the rebuke of thy countenance. 17Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou didst make strong for thyself, 18so we will not go back from thee. Thou shalt quicken us, and we will call upon thy name. 19Turn us again, O LORD God of the hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.

Genesis 20:1From there Abraham journeyed toward the territory of the Negeb and lived between Kadesh and Shur; and he sojourned in Gerar. 2And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, “She is my sister.” And Abimelech king of Gerar sent and took SarahThen G-d said to him in the dream,… “Yes, I know that you have done this in the integrity of your heart, and it was I who kept you from sinning against me. Therefore I did not let you touch her.

I Know some of you are working very diligently, preparing for the Third Temple to be Built.

It is not going to go that way, all of the law was to keep mankind alive until Moshiach (“anointed one”–the Messiah)

Like G-D; Kept Abimelech from sinning, I think he put the dome of the rock in place to stop the children of Israel from going backwards. Forward is the only way there is. Temple is important, but in the journey from the garden lost; to heaven; as each step brings us closer to cool of the evening, we have to let some thing go, so we can have a good hold on the next.

If G-D wanted the dome gone, do we think it still be there?  Has to be there for a reason.

Here is Jesus; at the second the temple around 32-33 A.D. (which was torn down around 69-70 A.D.)

John 2:16b“ Take these things away; do not make my Father’s house a house of trade.” 17His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for your house will consume me.”18So the Jews said to him, “What sign do you show us for doing these things?” 19Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” 20The Jews then said, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple and will you raise it up in three days?” 21But he was speaking about the temple of his body. 22When therefore he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they believed the Scripture and the word that Jesus had spoken.

(the new temple still has sacrifices, but now they are living sacrifices)

Romans 12:1Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. 2And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect

Revelation 20:The New Heaven and the New Earth

1Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. 2And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from G-d, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling of G-d is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and G-d himself will be with them as their G-d. 4He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

I know it’s a lot, but don’t be afraid to look into the new testament. If it’s wrong won’t you know? Here is a question I don’t have a confirmed answer to.

The bible says that at the time of the death; of Moshiach (“anointed one”–the Messiah)

(Might be a good time to read Isaiah chapter 53,) 

But the question is, do you have a record of the veil of the temple being torn from top to bottom, around the year 33 A.D. (5778-2018+33=3793)? Also, it says that it got dark in the middle of that day, and it says that there was an earthquake around the same time.

Acts 16:16One day on our way to the place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl. She had a spirit in her that gave her the power to tell the future. By doing this she made a lot of money for her owners. 17The girl followed Paul and the rest of us, and she kept yelling, “These men are servants of the Most High God! They are telling you how to be saved.”

18This went on for several days. Finally, Paul got so upset that he turned and said to the spirit, “In the name of Jesus Christ, I order you to leave this girl alone!” At once the evil spirit left her.

19When the girl’s owners realized they had lost all chances for making more money, they grabbed Paul and Silas and dragged them into court. 20They told the officials, “These Jews are upsetting our city! 21They are telling us to do things we Romans are not allowed to do.”

22The crowd joined in the attack on Paul and Silas. Then the officials tore the clothes off the two men and ordered them to be beaten with a whip. 23After they had been badly beaten, they were put in jail, and the jailer was told to guard them carefully

In this account there are a few items we should look at closer. To start, Paul and the group were about their own business, going to pray, going to assemble themselves together, working out their own salvation. This girl had an evil spirit in her; and it just would not let them alone or stop harassing these servants of G-D. Maybe some thought it was funny to watch, maybe it was good advertisement for business, after all wasn’t it true, but don’t miss the fact; that it was the evil spirit speaking, not the girl (she didn’t have a say at all in how she was being used. Just get on out there; and make me that money. Then at His servant’s request, G-D, set an abused and trafficked person free. Once the her owners realized that; business as usual was gone, it was right to the law (or at least a twisted version of it), then the news spread (the media of the day), and the rest of the people joined right in lock step. Obviously people can’t think for themselves, and need to be goaded (guided ) to the correct thinking. They were beaten without a trial and locked up. I know; it was not justice, but you should have seen what was done to their master before. Is there a pattern here?

Lets set the clock ahead to the day-night savings time. Look around at where we are, we should be able to say we are well prepared, having the proper gear and training “2 Cor 2:11so that we may not be exploited by Satan (for we are not ignorant of his schemes). If we are not prepared, we need to be.

Government is good thing, designed and implemented by G-D. Sadly someone left the keys in it, and was stolen. Now it is perverted (used in a way it was not intended).

It was to punish the evil doers, so we could have peace, pursue happiness and realize potential. It sure isn’t anything like that now.

Now it has two main jobs, one to take as much money as it can from you, and the other is to sell you to others so they can get your money.

Most of the people coming to the U.S. are being pushed out of their own country because of government corruption and failed policies. In other words they have taken everything that the people had.

But why do so many (it’s only made to appear that way) want open borders and no restrictions?

Have you ever paid a parking meter? Chances are that it was owned by a non-government business. So you paid; to park on a street; that tax dollars built? Sounds crazy. Ever gotten a photo speeding ticket? Again an outside entity is running that, and a ( 60/40 is the standard cut, wow someone should maybe kick-back on that.

Say you have a rental property, and rent to an ordinary person. Get ready for a stream of excuses about why they just can’t get the rent paid on time. Maybe you a healthcare provider, you will need a whole department just to try to collect the past due bills. Lets say you tell your good friend your troubles, and they say I can help you, but there are some fees and you will need to hire my associate. What we will do is get some poor people ( preferably desperate ones) to rent your house and use your healthcare. I know what you are thinking , how are these poor people going to pay? They can’t, and here is the beauty of it we will have the tax payers pay for it all, call it subsidized housing and free healthcare. Say you have a bunch of lawyers, and judges, and clerks, and law enforcement, food services people just laying around. I can help you with that. What you need to do is make so many rules that it is almost impossible to not break some of them. Once that’s in place we will need to build more places to hold these people, do you know any builders, but be sure to tell them that, there are some fees and they will need to hire my associate. I know what you are thinking, how are we going to keep the taxpayers paying all these bills? What we must do is, convince them that subsidized housing free healthcare, is the compassionate thing to do, and us keeping the bad guys of the street is a public service. Here is a thought, does anyone have any substances that might be extremely  addictive, that we could sell, maybe some synthetic poppies poppies poppies (sorry I was getting sleepy). I know what you are thinking. They are going to catch on to this. Not to worry, I know some people that will keep saying our message, all day long, and if some try to say anything different , they will diminish their character and shut them out of the conversation.

This is just a little tiny look at what is going on. This is not new, Solomon saw all the corruption of his day, and being the smartest guy in the room still could not stop it. You still may want to read his stuff, it is pretty good.

What seams to be lacking then as now; is self-control.

One of our contemporaries has said “ in climbing the mountain do your best to keep of your steps moving upward, you will eventually get to a higher place. I know it sounds easy.

Remember Esther; she said” if we had only been sold as slaves, I would have kept my peace, but we have sold for destruction”

Do not throw your government away, but you may want to put it in the shop and have it restored to the original factory settings. Oh and since the maintenance has been neglected for so long, it’s really going to cost you.

 

2 Samuel 2:

13And Joab the son of Zeruiah, and the servants of David, went out, and met them by the pool of Gibeon; and they sat down, the one on the one side of the pool, and the other on the other side of the pool. 14And Abner said to Joab, Let the young men, I pray thee, arise and play before us. And Joab said, Let them arise. 15Then they arose and went over by number; twelve for Benjamin, and for Ish-bosheth the son of Saul, and twelve of the servants of David. 16And they caught every one his fellow by the head, and thrust his sword in his fellow’s side; so they fell down together:

Here we have an example of two leaders in a conflict ( their civil war ); showing no regard for the solders. I know in warfare; solders are lost, and sometimes must be put into a no-win situation, but this is far from that, as some translations use the words “let them make sport before us”.

Today there are people on the two sides of this our civil war, some calling for people to rise up and attack others; even while they may be having a meal, shopping, or even; when they are in their own house. Do you know what can happen when people, minding their own business; are pushed into a no escape situation? What do you think your response will be ( you owe yourself an honest answer about this)? It seams to be a setup for death. Who wins in this? It is not the ones who; have been incited to do the violence, but the leaders; who are treating their followers with complete disregard. To die for what you believe; maybe, but to die for a leader’s sport. Aren’t you worth more than that?  Aren’t your friends valuable?  If something needs to be said, say it, find a place for your voice, your reason, your sound arguments, but be sure about leaders, and don’t let them waste your life.

We have many among us; or whom everyday is a struggle, and every turn is met with a new challenge. Who are these; that fight a vicious ongoing battle, isn’t it those that strive against a chemical imbalances.

They are shot with the doctors saying “well let’s try this drug first and see how they do” almost as if it’s on the patient to make it work; and if it doesn’t it’s their own fault. Some do work, some work some, some work for a while, what a long ride through a house of horrors. The thought; and the hope of those caught; in this whirlpool may be “maybe this time, maybe this one will fix me”.

How long do we think that we might last under such intense forces, and along with this; add dealing with school, and just trying to find your way in the world.

Yes; these ones that push ‘once again into the breach” that rise up and face such a devious and destructive enemy; Are Heroes.

I’m not against doctors, don’t misunderstand; there are some good doctors that have a good plan.

Now; Just an old story

One day we had to play; baseball was chosen; and the young group took the field.

Most of us; were not big league bound; we weren’t really playing; just standing around.

There was one who was well on his game; could have had a place in the Hall of Fame.

This guy threw that ball with seemingly ease; right into my glove just hanging at my knees.

That memory I keep’ in a special spot; that he was that good; when I was so not.

There is another old story; that is better than all.

Let God’s word; find it’s way into your pain;

You’ll find Him kind; He’ll make you whole, healthy and sane.

Romans 12 Christ Brings New Life 1Dear friends, God is good. So I beg you to offer your bodies to him as a living sacrifice, pure and pleasing. That’s the most sensible way to serve God. 2Don’t be like the people of this world, but let God change the way you think. Then you will know how to do everything that is good and pleasing to him.
